Kling 3.0 Image to Video

Start a Kling 3.0 video from your own picture. Upload a first frame, optionally add a last frame to decide where the shot ends, and describe the motion in between. Output runs 3 to 15 seconds in Standard, Pro or 4K, with native audio available.

Use a last frame when the ending matters — a product landing in place, a character reaching a mark.

Kling 3.0

First frame, last frame, or both ends

The pictures set the look; Kling 3.0 supplies the performance.

Consistency

A first frame locks the look

Character design, product details, wardrobe and lighting are taken from your opening image instead of being re-invented from text. That makes Kling 3.0 image to video the dependable route for brand assets and recurring characters.

Control

An optional last frame sets the destination

Add a second picture and the clip is generated to arrive on it. Without one, the model chooses the ending. A last frame always needs a first frame — the page will ask for the opening image if you only supply the closing one.

Framing

The picture decides the aspect ratio

There is no ratio menu here: Kling 3.0 follows the shape of the first frame. Prepare the image at the shape you want to publish — upright for stories and shorts, wide for players and presentations.

Sound

Give still images a voice

With Generate Audio on, a portrait can speak a quoted line and a street photo gains traffic and footsteps. Audio is generated with the motion, so lip movement and sound are produced together rather than dubbed afterwards.

How to animate an image with Kling 3.0

Prepare the frames, describe the action, pick a quality tier.

1
Step 1

Upload JPEG or PNG frames

Each frame can be up to 10MB. Kling 3.0 accepts JPEG and PNG only — convert WebP files first. The first frame is required; the last frame is optional and should match the first frame's aspect ratio.

2
Step 2

Describe the action, not the picture

Tell the model what happens: “The runner tightens her laces, stands and jogs out of frame to the right.” With a last frame, explain how the scene gets there so the motion has a reason to end on that picture.

3
Step 3

Test at Standard, finish in Pro or 4K

Run a short Standard clip to check the motion, then repeat the same frames and prompt at the quality you need. The credit cost for every combination is shown before you submit.

FAQ

Answers about this workflow, inputs and output settings.

JPEG and PNG, up to 10MB per frame. WebP is not accepted by this model, so convert those files before uploading.

No. A last frame only works together with a first frame. Upload the opening image first, then add the closing image if you want to control the ending.

When a frame is supplied, Kling 3.0 follows the image's own aspect ratio, so the setting would have no effect. Crop the first frame to the shape you need.

Yes. Turn on Generate Audio and put the line in quotation marks in your prompt. Results vary with the image — a clear, front-facing subject works best. Only upload images you have the right to use.

Turbo animates a single image silently at 720p or 1080p. Kling 3.0 adds an optional last frame, native audio and a 4K tier.

Yes. Credits are held at submission and released automatically if the generation fails. Finished videos are only available for 7 days.
